Delores Morris is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Her practice provides therapeutic services for individuals, children, and groups. Her practice is located in Decatur across from DeKalb Medical Center on Winn Way. She has worked with a number of State agencies, non-profit organizations, schools, Churches, cultures, and alternative lifestyles.
Her areas of expertise include personal growth empowerment (such as mental upgrades, life skills development, spiritual development, psychological profiles, and self awareness training), parenting support, school interventions and co-occurring conditions. Other areas include addiction treatment (including counseling for office-assisted Suboxone needs), foster care/adoption assistance, treatment for ADHD and Bipolar, trauma recovery, and Adult Children of Alcoholics (ACOA).
Our partnerships include: the Department of Family and Children Services, Behavioral Health and Developmental Diseases, Clayton County Public Schools, Renfroe Middle School, the Department of Driver Services, Accenture Federal Services, Compsych, R3 Continuum, and the Department of Transportation. We are also the preferred providers for EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
In addition to her private practice, she has presented at national and local conferences. She is honored to have served on two deployments (New Orleans and Alabama) for the Katrina Assistance Project sponsored by SAMSHA.
